We’ve got a bag that is SO fun to carry around and makes you feel SO special…everyone will have to have one! After getting hundreds of comments on a great customer creation we blogged several months ago, we decided to come up with our own take on the feminine ruffle bag.

You can make it with a single gorgeous fabric, or mix and match for an eclectic look. We love embellishing the top band with velvet ribbon or lace. The look works beautifully with vintage jewelry.

It comes in three sizes – mini (S), purse (M), and tote (L)! There are three options for edge finishing (overlocked, narrow hemmed, and double thickness ruffles), so don’t worry if you don’t have a serger! And despite the elegant look, this bag is easy-peasy to put together.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

mini (S), purse (M), and tote (L) Materials:

  • Fabric – 1 -3 yards, depending on size and style
  • Heavyweight fusible interfacing – 0.5 – 1.25 yards
  • Fusible fleece – 0.5 – 1.25 yards

You Will Also Need:

  •  Magnetic closure (optional)
  • Trim (optional)
  • Fabric marking pen/pencil

Betsey is the prettiest, most flattering frock on the block. You’ll be a winning hostess in this reversible apron and the talk of Happy Town.

We love this apron for its uber cuteness factor, and the fact that you you can add the removable side bows to put you in the holiday mood. Betsey still makes a great, practical everyday apron as well. Add one or two pockets for holding measuring spoons or recipe cards (or just to keep the cell handy while mingling with guests).

This apron is a fun, easy-sew way to mix and match your favorite Sis Boom fabrics. With three sizes available (Childs, Misses, and Womens), you can whip up these aprons for all the chefettes on your list.

Sizing / Finished Measurements:

Child, Misses, Womens Materials: Fabric – 1 -3 yards, depending on size and style
