Join talented and fun Australian toy designer Jodie Carleton for a day of softie fun.

Learn everything you need to know about sewing soft toys including working with wool felt, inserting safety eyes, turning small pieces right-side out the easy way (really), stuffing, machine embellishment, hand-embroidery and more.  

There are 3 fantastic Ric Rac projects to choose from:  

Stablemates Horse, Donkey or Unicorn

Stable Mates pattern includes pattern to make a wool felt horse, donkey, unicorn, saddle, bridle & rug.

Finished horse size: Approx 12 inches high

Ginger, Henry or Tilly the rag dolls 

Tilly
Pattern includes doll with reversible dress, cardigan, reversible shirt, shorts and romper.
Tilly loves to swap and share her clothes with her friends Ginger and Henry.

Ginger
Pattern includes doll with reversible dress, coat, bag, reversible skirt, shirt and overalls.
Ginger loves to swap and share her clothes with her friends Tilly and Henry.

Henry

Henry is the sweetest little boy you will ever find. He is a big doll with an even bigger wardrobe, just ready to play with all his friends. All of henry's clothes are generously sized to encourage children to dress and undress Henry and get him ready to play. The pattern contains the doll, long pants, cuffed shorts, collared shirt, T-shirt with 3 motifs, cardigan, quilted vest, duffle coat, boardshorts and reversible hat ! It' s a fantastic whopper of a pattern. 

✂️You can use cotton, linen and wool felt to make up henry and his well-stocked wardrobe. Colour photos of each item are included in the first two pages.  Can swap clothes with his friends Tilly, Ginger and Henry.

Frankie or Dee Lions

Frankie and Dee are two beautiful lion siblings. With button-joints for moveable arms and legs, they are not as complicated as they look. Frankie makes a big impact and would be the perfect gift for that wild child (or grownup) in your life. His mane is utterly fabulous! Both lions are made completely with felt.

These patterns are perfect for the not-so-young, the young at heart, and the really really old and ancient!

Cost: $200 plus $19.35 pattern.  Includes morning tea, lunch and tuition.  Thank you for paying $50 towards this class.  Balance is due on the day:)
