🏆 Over the years, our students have crafted stunning quilt designs, earning accolades across all categories, and even clinching the prestigious Best in Show Award. Now, it's your child’s turn to unleash their creativity and join the ranks of our prize-winning artists!

🎉 Throughout this engaging short course, our experienced tutors will guide budding artisans through the process of designing and crafting their very own quilt for the Tasmanian Quilt Guild Student Quilt Competition. With a curriculum designed to inspire and develop artistic skills, students will dive into creative exercises and learn essential art processes.

🖌️ From brainstorming unique quilt designs to mastering patchwork techniques and beginning the sewing journey, this class offers comprehensive support every step of the way. While the course provides a solid foundation, further classes may be required to ensure completion by the competition deadline at end August.

🌟 The culmination of this journey will see your child’s masterpiece professionally judged and proudly displayed at the Tasmanian Quilt Guild Island Quilts Exhibition, hosted at Mac 02 in September 6-8 2024.

When:  Saturday 27 July and Saturday 3, 10 and 17 August 9-12.

Cost:  Class $55 per class.  Total cost $220.00  

Accessibility: Despite our goal to have an accessible sewing classroom, in our current location the classroom is unfortunately up a flight of stairs. There is a small bathroom downstairs, not wheelchair accessible. If you have any queries about the accessibility of our classroom, please give us a call.

We do have a mobile classroom which we take to different venues that are wheelchair accessible, so please do keep an eye out for those classes if you are unable to visit our North Hobart store.

NO SHOW POLICY

All Frangipani Fabrics Classes are limited to a certain number of class participants.  You do need to give us notice if you wish to cancel your class.

If you are unable to attend the class that you have booked, you must give us

1 WEEKS’ NOTICE.

Failure to do this means that your fee has been forfeited.

Last minute cancellations will also be considered as No Shows
